'GO for Innovation' AT AGRITECHNICA 2015
As the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural machinery,
Agritechnica is the branch event par excellence. We are very
pleased to be able to introduce to you again this year numerous
innovations and would like to cordially invite you to visit
AMAZONE on its new stand – now in Hall 9.
In total we will present 30 new machines and systems and so, together with all these innovations, we continue to pursue our objective of perfecting our worldwide agricultural 3C concept: optimally matched machinery and system chains from soil tillage via sowing through to crop protection and fertilisation.
In general, two main trends are evident throughout all of these innovations. Trend 1 shows the further extended development in the use of precision farming. Here electronics, with the aid of “intelligent” machinery, offer a multitude of new opportunities in cost saving which can increase efficiency as well as help in saving the environment.
So, for instance, on the fully automatic ZA-TS fertiliser spreader fitted with Argus Twin, the radar technology ensures the optimum lateral distribution of the fertiliser. On the other hand, checking the lateral fertiliser distribution with the aid of the digital, mobile EasyCheck test kit for any fertiliser type is greatly simplified.
For seed drills, GPS-Switch with AutoPoint perfects the precise on and off switch point of the machine which helps save seed. In the world of crop protection, both AmaSelect and AmaSwitch individual nozzle control offer the possibility of an even more precise automatic partwidth section control based on either 50 or 25 cm nozzle spacing. And even more “intelligent” still is the new system AmaSpot; a nozzle sensor system which enables the crop protection application to treat only those parts where in fact weeds or volunteer grains exist.
Trend 2 underlines the still further increase in working width and operating flexibility required from machinery. In this way AMAZONE meets the need for more efficiency and a widening range of application. This becomes evident, for instance, with the new Catros+ 12003-2TS compact disc harrow in 12 m working width or on the new Primera DMC 12001-2C for direct, mulch and conventional sowing with fertiliser tank and 12 m working width. Also more operational flexibility is offered by the XTender, a rear tank system enabling passive soil tillage equipment to simultaneously apply tiliser and/or seed.
This brochure introduces in detail all the current AMAZONE innovations. Look forward to an interesting read and discover the advantages that “GO for Innovation at Agritechnica 2015” offers the world of farming.
